Fan Zone Tips
Bayfront Park Fan Festival starts June 13 — the end date varies across sources (host committee implies July 19 / Final; L'Etage cites July 5). Verify the active calendar at miamifwc26.com before traveling around the late knockout window.
For Brazil and Argentina matches, Little Havana cafés overflow — arrive 90+ min early. The Cuban-American crowd treats every Latin American match as their own.
Bayfront Park has 30,000 capacity but afternoon thunderstorms (3-6 PM most days) can briefly clear it out. Indoor fallback at adjacent Bayside Marketplace.
Coast Guard water security zone active at Bayfront Park (Jun 17 – Jul 5). A formal U.S. Coast Guard security zone covers Biscayne Bay adjacent to Bayfront Park where the fan festival is held. Vessels may not anchor or loiter within the zone without permission from the Captain of the Port, Sector Miami (VHF-FM Channel 16 or 305-535-4472). This affects anyone arriving by water taxi, private boat, or kayak — use land-based transit instead.
Hydration is critical — Miami summer heat (90°F + 80% humidity) is no joke. Cooling stations expected at Bayfront Park; carry refillable water bottles.
Spanglish dominates — most fan zones will run programming in Spanish-and-English. Brush up on phrases (see phrases.html).
