City Hall → DUMBO, Brooklyn. Free. 1.1-mile pedestrian walkway — 30–40 minutes one way. Best in the morning before tourist crowds. Walk to DUMBO for coffee and Manhattan Bridge photos from Washington St.

Gansevoort St to 34th St, West Side. Free elevated park on a decommissioned rail line — 1.45 miles, public art, Hudson River views. Best on a weekday morning. Connects Hudson Yards to the Meatpacking District.

Yankee Stadium / Citi Field
Yankees in the Bronx; Mets in Queens (near USTA fan zone). Both host games through July. Stadium tours available. 4 Train to Yankee Stadium; 7 Train to Citi Field — two of the easiest transit trips in baseball.

10th Ave gallery corridor + High Line above. Galleries free on Thursdays. 200+ art galleries, the Whitney Museum (adults $25), and the High Line park are all within a 6-block walk.

125th St corridor. Free. Apollo Theater exterior (tours available), Sylvia's soul food, Studio Museum in Harlem (free on Sundays), and Marcus Garvey Park. A neighbourhood most tourists miss entirely.
